I have two Freestyle projectors. Because I like them so much, I ended up buying a second one, but connecting the second projector to SmartThings was a huge hassle. The issues mostly occurred in Ambient mode. Even though I was clearly using the same network connection, it kept saying I needed to be on the same network to upload photos to My Gallery. Then, because the Smart Hub was supposedly updating, I couldn’t detect my second projector using the SmartThings app. As a result, I had to repeatedly perform factory resets and avoided using the restore backup feature.
After a lot of effort, I finally managed to connect my second projector to SmartThings. However, the main issue still isn’t resolved. When I go into Ambient mode and open My Gallery to upload a few photos, I still can’t find the **Slideshow Duration** option in the Edit section to adjust how long each photo is displayed. No matter how many times I update the projector, reinstall the SmartThings app, or restart the device, my first projector has the Slideshow Duration feature, but my second projector—despite having all the other Ambient mode functions—is mysteriously missing just this one feature.
The first projector installed without any issues, and I was very satisfied, which is why I bought a second one. I called customer service, but no one called me back. I left a message, and the response I got seemed to be from an AI—none of the suggestions worked! Samsung claims to have 24/7 customer support, but it turns out it’s just AI. Can anyone tell me what to do? Is it the proector's problem or just the app's? Should I send the projector to the store for a repair?

Also, just want to make sure do you have the auto ambient mode on, as this can also cause you to not be able to change the duration.
Both of my projectors, the same model # SP-LFF3CLAXXZA, are the freestyle 2nd generation. Why does my first projector have a slideshow duration function, while my second projector doesn’t? I’ve already contacted Samsung tech support, and they advised me to reach out to SmartThings’ tech support. I’ve attached the video I took just now. Whenever I hit Edit, it immediately transitions to Ambient mode. Despite this, the slideshow duration function is still missing in the Edit section.
