Remote not working and red light flashing

Hello.

Looks like I just fell into the same Remote ‘flashing red, not pairing, not available, tv turning on by itself in the middle of the night’ black hole I’ve seen posted about.  How frustrating!  I have read through the posts and tried everything, yet i cannot get any of the functions to work.  Everything has worked perfectly for over a year.  I’m so confused, please help.

There are no buttons on the TV.

Are you located in the US? Most televisions have a toggle button at the bottom either in the middle or one of the sides.

The software is up to date, when was the unit purchased?

If this does not work, the next step would be service.

Is it possible for you to look up when I created this account?  That may be the year.  Although, I've  had and have several Samsung TVs of varying ages.

Please help me, my remote is not working 😞 . It's a Samsung TV with a Samsung remote bought at best buy in January 2020.  Model Q60 R.
