I have 2 Samsung TVs. On the same wired CAT 5e ethernet network in my house. Powered by a 1GB Lumos Fiber Optic Internet connection. One is upstairs. One is downstairs.

The one upstairs is fine.

The one downstairs (UN32N5300) is fine EXCEPT when it comes to Samsung TV Plus.
- The app will run.
- I can see the menus, channels, banners, and navigate and run the LH side menu.
- I can select any channel I want and it appears to be loading on the screen, but after about a minute is comes to the default error screen and says "There was a problem while trying to play the TV PLUS channel. Check your network settings or try again later".
- I cannot get any *content* to actually play.

I have done these:
-Factory reset of the TV
-Replaced and tested the CAT5e ethernet cable and run it to a different switch.
-I have reset the smart hub
- I have run all the network tests, including IP v6. All good and tested OK. The TV tells me I have Internet access.
- I have run the software update - no new updates available. I'm on 1350.7
- Software version: T-KTSNAKUC-1350.7

It is really strange. Everything about the Samsung TV Plus function(s) seem to work EXCEPT I get no actual content. No video content and no audio content. But I still get all the menus, banners, buttons - everything else. All the while the upstairs TV is fine and plays TV Plus content 100% and on the same wired network. The upstairs TV is a UN40N5200.

I am at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Home button on your remote and select Settings on the Samsung TV screen.

Step 2: Go to Support > Self Diagnosis > TV Device Manager.

Step 3: On this screen, you will see three sections ā€“ Memory Boost, Clean Running Apps, and Manage Storage. You can try to perform them one by one to clear the TV cache completely.

Once you finish clearing the cache, the ā€œSamsung TV Plus app not workingā€ issue might have been fixed and you can watch the TV shows you like normally.

Hi,
In my Self Diagnosis screen I have these:

-Start Picture Test
-Start Sound Test
-Signal Information (greyed out)
-Start Smart Hub Connection Test
-Reset Smart Hub
-Reset

I've done the Start Smart Hub Connection Test again this morning and I get 5 checkmarks with "All the tests were completed successfully".

I can't find the items you mention anywhere in my menus. Maybe my TV doesn't have those?

Is this where you have the TV on, and unplug the power cord and leave it unplugged for XX minutes? (If so, how many minutes do you recommend?)
