Samsung UN50F6350AF bottom right-hand corner getting very hot/melting

Does anyone have a similar problem with a TV? It started feeling very hot and some time later it started to melt the plastic frame. IMG_2440.jpg

Sounds like there's a shorted IC or wire/trace somewhere. Too much amperage on something. Can you fix it yourself? No. Should you reach out to Samsung warranty, absolutely. When whatever component under there goes, it will combust.

Let me clarify, you COULD fix it yourself, but I assume you're not a microsoldering expert with a bunch of OEM board components on hand with an O scope and multimeter to test. If you are, sorry, and now I'm wondering why you'd be asking what's going on 😜
