TU 8000 shuts off and restarts every 30 secs

My TV is weird.

turn it on and the picture and sound are fine.  Wait about 20 or 30 seconds and the screen goes black, you still hear sound but then it reboots. 

You are a message Smart TV powered by Tizen

and it’s back for a few seconds again. 

I tried the unplug 1 minute as well as unplug and hold power button to reset

Any ideas?

Hello! Thank you so much for posting about this. I completely understand your concerns with the TV having a black screen after 20 or 30 seconds. I'll be more than delighted to assist you with this issue. If able, press the menu button on the remote. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having. 

 

If you haven't already, you want to test the HDMI cable. 

To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test. Navigate to Settings, and then select Support. Select Device Care, select Self Diagnosis, and then select Signal Information. Select HDMI Cable Test, and then select Start Test.

If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable

 

Check to make sure the software is updated: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

 

If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case-by-case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
