Solved: USB Update did not recognize the file - Samsung Community

Hello,

I have just purchased a TV (AU8200) 75 I want to upgrade the software but the automatic update function did not download the new version, I have the internet on my tv, and I have entered IP addresses manually as well, IP, mask, gateway and DNS 8.8.8.8, on download Samsung official support webpage, exists a new release, my question are, what is the correct procedure for doing that, what is the correct format for the USB, should I need to copy paste all the files in the root? or copy the folder?

I have tried in different ways and my tv could not update.

I hope you can help me, please.

Step 1. Search for your TV’s model code on the Samsung Support website and then download the Upgrade file. (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/)

Step 2. Unzip the contents and store it on your USB drive.

Step 3. Insert the USB drive into the USB slot on your TV.

Step 4. The firmware update will start automatically
