Projectors & Other TVsHello World,
I have a un65tu7000fxza not even 2yrs old yet and it started blinking red on me. I've tried the 30 second / 60 second reset on the power button to no avail.
I'm reading that I need to replace the main board and power supply and possibly cable ribbon.
What is weird is that if I keep resetting the TV, I can hear the sounds come on but no picture but then it goes back to blinking red. The TV is conveniently out of the 1yr warranty and I hate to throw it away because the picture quality isn't that bad. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks for all responses.

Projectors & Other TVsI couldn’t live without my TV powering up. Let’s get this situated for you as soon as we can. Troubleshooting this can be tricky at times, and it seems you may have tried some of these steps already, but humor me a little.
Unplug the TV and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
Next, plug the TV back in, using an outlet you know works (you can test the outlet with another device, like a lamp). Please do not use a surge protector, as they may eventually wear out and stop providing the necessary voltage for your TV.
If the red standby light comes on (and doesn't flash or blink), your TV is receiving power and will probably turn on now. This means there is an issue with the original outlet, or the surge protector if you use one.
If the TV still doesn't turn on even though the red standby light is now on, continue troubleshooting in the section for the red standby light is on or if the TV still won't turn on and the red standby light is still blinking, this is a sign that something is wrong with your TV.
At this point, service is recommended. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this on a case-by-case basis, please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

Projectors & Other TVsYes. I've done that several times. Along with holding down the power button on the tv while unplugged for 60 seconds.
