The support site lists USB firmware 1503 for the QN65QN90BAF TV but the TV reports firmware version is 4121.  How do you manually check to confirm TV is updating correctly?

TV remote Press menu settings support click on support go to software update and update now if that doesn't work you can download the software via USB from your PC and download it manually to your TV download it from the website shown in the second photo20230810_130613_1000001588_1691697974.jpg20230810_130728_1000001589_1691698048.jpg

Hi JBT, the download and update options are intuitive but confirming the most recent version of firmware is impossible on the Samsung website.  USB Firmware 1503 is the latest download but the download/description make no reference to the current firmware of 4121.8 for the TV.  Samsung Tech Support provided the same answer.  Do you assume 1503 equates to the latest update for 4121?    Seems like that would make it difficult for customers troubleshooting a TV that is not updating correctly.

No the tv show it ao if you want you can do it manually it's won't hurt any or you can just wait it will hit your tv. If you want you can manufacturer reset your tv and redo setup sometimes this get updates to come through faster as it does it during the setup process 20230810_130613_1000001588_1691697974.jpg

Hello, There. Our website does not always have the latest firmware listed. The webmaster does their best to keep this up to date, but please note this may not be the latest version.

You can find out if you have the latest version by going to Menu, then select Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update. If the message states you have the latest firmware, this means that your model is completely up-to-date. If the firmware version is higher than what's listed on the site, it does mean you have the latest version. We hope this helps. If you're having any issues with your unit please feel free to reach out to the community with more details or send a PM to speak with a moderator directly, We're here for you!
