can anyone tell me if the qn90b plays flac

They don't even provide this information on the product spec page. You can call or text them but I'd take what they say with a grain of salt.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Most of our TVs have different video and music formats and codecs. From the partial model number provided it does say that your TV does support it but as it is not the full model results may vary. You can look at the user manual, and look on page 162 to see all supported formats. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to us.
