QLED and The Frame TVsI had left the auto update turned on...not anymore.
Since the last update the TV now turns off while watching for no reason. Am not using the remote. Energy saving mode is turned off. I was using a powerboard which has now been removed but that was always there and the other devices also connected were not affected so don't believe that will be the cause. Unless it's a hardware fault, which feels unlikely, then it has to be this update...as reported by others (although my problem does not involve the TV turning back on...which was another earlier fault I believe). Disconnecting from power for 30 seconds allows me to turn it back on again. Has happened twice in a week with a TV that is just past it's 2 year warranty...of course š
Hopefully this does not get any worse. If it's update related then it shouldn't. I expect the fault is somehow related to the power saving function even though it's disabled from the menu. It's a real shame I can't return to an earlier update as can be done with other brand devices. In hindsight I should have treated it like a printer and turned off auto updates when I bought it. Hopefully Samsung will be listening and the next update will correct this.
