I've seen a reoccurring problem with new ps5 owners and the Q90T. The Q90T is able to output 4k 120hz with no problems. For some reason the Q90T can't output HDR along with with 4k 120hz signal. I know the PS5 is maxed out at 4:2:2 for 4k 120hz, is there any way the Q90T can play 4:2:2 HDR with 4k 120hz?
Has Samsung or Sony addressed this issue at all? I read the Forbes article about this, but the author said that neither Samsung nor Sony had reached out to them or responded at all. It seems like they're unsure if this is a PS5 issue or an issue with the tv. I read that the tv does 4k hdr 120hz vrr with Xbox Series X, but 4k hdr 120hz isn't working with PS5 for whatever reason.
Q95T has the same issue, no HDR and 120fps with coldwar, Siege, Dirt5. Dirt5 is not playable at all in 120fps mode. The collours are strange and the picture is dark. I know the LG cx does not have these issues on the ps5. Also Dirt5 works 120 fps. I have the latest firmware. How can we adress this?
