Samsung Apps and ServicesI recently came across a device allowing you to use Samsung DeX in your car using your screen. It's called AutoPro X.
Please exercise caution and only use this feature when your vehicle is stationary.
I find this device is very useful, especially when I need to make adjustments to Excel spreadsheets or review files while visiting work sites.
Essentially, you can use all of your phone's apps on the screen without any lagging or issues.
For those who don't have built-in wireless Android Auto, it's super easy to connect without a wire. If you do have a car with built-in wireless Android Auto, you'll need an extra device: a USB switch for $9. This is because your car may get confused about which device to connect to.
With the USB switch, you will need to turn off the AutoPro X if you want to connect your phone to the car's built-in wireless Android Auto. When you want to use the AutoPro X, simply disconnect from Android Auto on your phone via the panel, turn on AutoPro X, and switch to Samsung DeX. Your phone will connect automatically.
While this may seem like a lengthy process, it will take no longer than 20-25 seconds. If you follow my method, I assure you that you will never experience connectivity issues. People who have this issue may find that either their phone doesn't support Samsung DeX, or their car is having trouble with the built-in wireless Android Auto. Remember YOU MUST SWITCH ONE OF THEM OFF.
If you want to enhance your workstation, consider getting a keyboard for just $29. You'll have a fully functional mobile workstation!
I can share the link if someone is interested or search on Mazon for AutoPro X
