I believe that this option as well as disabling trash, were available on older software versions. It was always good to have these options since everybody manages their phones differently.
In my case, as a photographer, i would prefer to have the trash on, but being able to delete files without confirmation. Depending on the photo session i can take hundreds of photos and deleting bad photos with just one tap would be helpful.
Since the deleted photos get sent to the trash bin, if i delete a photo by mistake i can still recover it.
Please bring these options back. Galaxy has always bring good for having options and being able to customize. But it seems that with each iteration options/ features get removed. As a long time Galaxy user, i am fine with going through settings to customize my phone if all options/ features get removed in order to not overwhelm and attract new users.
