The Finder Search functionality should be expanded to include home screen shortcuts. This would involve indexing shortcuts created from various apps, including those for webpages, specific app tasks, and any other shortcuts users might create. The OS has already proven the ability to index the home screen tasks and shortcuts in some way exhibited by the appearance of those user created tasks and shortcuts as options to add to the Tasks Edge Panel. So, allowing those shortcuts to appear in the "universal search" results seems like a no brainer
