Google is adding a new feature to its messaging app that for some might be the game changer that finally makes them switch!

Who hasn't sent a text message that they wish they could fix post sending.

This feature is only out for Beta Testers for now. 

How it works, you long press a recently sent text, you will see a :pencil: icon, edit the text and send. No more sending a 2nd text as your edit.

With Iphone RCS compatible coming soon only with Google Messages there is no reason to use anything else!

There is one thing I really want Google to adopt that is sorely needed to make it almost perfect, the ability to copy only what you want to copy from a message instead of the whole text message!

Yeah I can't wait for the edit feature to come out bad thing is for it to work both users have to be using Google Messages with the feature on

I should get it soon, same with my whole circle. We have all been in the Beta since 2020, when you had to download multiple apps just to get it on your phone.
I then did it to all my family and friends that are on Android.

I so wish Samsung messages would have taken off the same way google messages did.
I really want a separate, Samsung ecosystem on every device.
I want a Samsung desktop operating system, i want Samsung home thermometers, smart hubs all of it.
Coming back down to reality, of course, Google messages is what I use because duh.
And yes, the rcs chat upgrades have been amazing.
The photomoji thing is so fun!
Hopefully we will get games like in imessage.
Cant wait to start texting with Gemini, too!
