Having issue with Samsung Gallery Revert to Original

I used the search function to find an old picture, and I clicked revert to original since I had cropped it. When I used the search function again, the picture was nowhere to be seen. Is there an easy way for me to find that same picture again? Thanks!

Are you looking for the reverted original or the cropped photo? Once you revert back to the original, all changes are undone unless you saved as a copy.
