I recently added a music track/clip to notifications to my messages only.
I still have the original sound for all other notifications But when i receive a text message, I open it up. But the music is still playing. It's not the whole song.its clipped. Any ideas how to correct this? Thanks
You may have to clip it again, it may be too long for a notification sound. Some people like it to be long in case they don't hear it initially - my sister has the world's longest notification tone for her messages, but I do believe it stops when she opens the notification. It could just be that it takes a bit for her to realize a message came in, then to grab the phone from her bag and then open the notification. It's hard for me to determine if it's supposed to stop on opening a notification because *all* my notification sounds are short, and usually long ended by the time I open my notification.
When your notification triggers, do you open the messages app directly, or click on the notification to open the message? It could be a factor.
