TabletsI was able to use my Tab S9 to make calls through my Galaxy A32 5G but am unable to through my Galaxy S24 Ultra. I get the same error message posted last year.

TabletsIf it worked with your Galaxy A32 5G but not with your Galaxy S24 Ultra, and you're seeing the same error others reported last year, here’s what’s likely going on and how to fix it:
---
What’s Likely Causing It on the S24 Ultra
1. Software/Firmware Restrictions or Bugs
The Galaxy S24 series has had several issues with Call & Text on Other Devices in early One UI 6.1 and One UI 7 builds. Even fully updated, the feature sometimes doesn't handshake properly.
2. Samsung Account Not Fully Syncing Between Devices
Both your Tab and S24 Ultra must be:
Signed in to the same Samsung account
On the same Wi-Fi network
Using the default Samsung Phone and Messages apps
3. Phone App Permissions Not Granted
The S24 may be blocking the call sharing function due to missing or reset permissions after a system update.
4. The Feature is Turned On Only One Way
The feature must be enabled on both the phone (host) and the tablet (companion).
---
How to Fix It
1. Enable Call & Text on Both Devices
On the Galaxy S24 Ultra (your phone):
Go to Settings > Connected devices > Call & text on other devices
Turn it ON
Ensure your Tab S9 is listed under “Registered devices”
On the Tab S9:
Go to Settings > Advanced features > Call & text on other devices
Turn it ON
> Note: If the Tab doesn’t show the S24 Ultra as a connected device, it means pairing failed.
2. Check Samsung Account Sync
Make sure both devices are signed in to the exact same Samsung account (Settings > Samsung account)
Open the Samsung Account settings, go to Devices, and confirm both devices are visible in your account dashboard
3. Reset the Connection Between Devices
Turn Call & Text on Other Devices OFF on both devices
Restart both the phone and the tablet
Turn the feature back ON again — first on the phone, then on the tablet
4. Reset Permissions on the Phone App
On the Galaxy S24 Ultra:
Go to Settings > Apps > Phone
Tap Permissions
Make sure Nearby devices, Contacts, Microphone, and Call logs are all allowed
Also check Special access > Change system settings and Modify system settings
5. Use Samsung Messages and Samsung Phone
If you're using Google Messages or a third-party phone dialer, the feature may not work
Set Samsung Messages and Samsung Phone as default
---
If You Still Get the Error
Try removing and re-adding your Samsung account on the Tab S9 (Settings > Accounts)
Or go to the Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Reports, and include the exact error message (you said it matches last year’s, so they may already have it logged)
---
Final Note
You're not imagining it — this issue has resurfaced for S24 series users in recent firmware. Until Samsung issues a stability patch, the steps above are your best path to restoring full functionality.
Let me know the exact error message you're getting, and I can cross-reference it with known fixes or patch logs.
