For the love of all things tech, plesae bring back classic dex in OneUI 8.5. I have a galaxy tab s9 ultra. I absolutely love this tablet and I absolutely loved classic dex. I tried very hard to keep my tablet from updating to OneUI 8 but it happened anyway. I do not like what has happened to DEX. Software wise, it was as close to perfect as a tablet can get. I don't want to stifle innovation but I just don't understand why they changed it the way they did. It is not better. It is worse. I don't know if my tablet will even get OneUI 9 (which will be based on Android 17) so 8.5 is presumably my last hope. Please, at least give us the option to go back to classic dex like we had with previous OneUI builds. Please, Please, Please!
I'm currenlty using the Galaxy S24 Ultra (looking to upgrade to the S26 Ultra or the next fold) and the watch classic 8. I'm very much in the Samsung ecosystem. Thank you for your consideration!
Samsung Dex now only connects wirelessly to laptops and TVs, no more HDMI connection to tablets. They basically are trying to force people to upgrade to more expensive hardware.
