Instagram App For Tablet

I have an older tablet - Tab A7. I recently installed Instagram on it with the intention of doing Live streaming. I noticed that the tablet version doesn't have the option to load images into the live feed (like you can with a phone).

Does anyone know if this is a function of it being an older tablet or is there something in the Settings that needs to be turned on?

The Instagram developers would be the ones to answer that question

Instagram app->Hamburger menu in upper rigt->Help->Report a problem
