Hi All, looking for some help/advice. I have an old Samsung  tablet, Model GT-P6210 which I have owned since 2012. I was trying to reset it and clear some space on it to use it for some mundane tasks (Spotify, etc), but after the reset I cannot get the tablet to recognise my own Google account. I can get onto the internet with my google account, but not add the account to the tablet so cannot access the Play STore app etc.

What am I doing wrong ? and how to I get it to recognise my account ?

Thanks

Masoe (UK)

Yes I know I too have a few old phones and tablets from Samsung also from what I have come to understand google play store or google play have shut down certain services for old tablets and phones so Yes you can use your google account for your internet access but to download certain apps or games are no longer supported by the google app or play store for older models of Samsung devices also goes for the Samsung store they also have stopped support for older models of phones and tablets

Thank you for the reply and information. I suspected as such, but thought somehow the systems would work even on a retrospective platform. Clearly not, but thank you for the information supplied
