Tablets@usersgwrkielQ5 I haven't encountered that issue on my Tab S9+. Have you tried doing it while booted in safe mode?
If it works while booted in safe mode, you know that the issue is caused by a 3rd party app. To boot in safe mode, https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

TabletsI'm having the same issue with my S9 Ultra. I've been using for months with no issue until I did a update today so it's definitely going to be a software issue.... I found a post stating that if you turn the screen brightness all the up it will then register your finger print, I tried it and it worked. Hopefully it'll work for you as well ...
