the model is DVG45T3200W the jingle when it's done is obnoxious. please someone tell me I can turn it off I hate the 2 minute song it plays when my clothes are clean.
whoever thought such a long jingle was a good idea is stupid. 3 to 5 dings is genuinely enough.
Maybe it's meant to be annoying to prompt you to get your clothes out of the washer? If one is away from the washer, they are not going to hear 3-5 dings, depending on the size of your home. Does the music not stop when the lid/door is opened? Why not just open it even if you are not ready to remove your clothes? Check your manual to see if there is a way to disable the sound.
We just had this dryer delivered (9/19/24) and am in need of this solution and the manuals of no help (nor is the smart care app). The sound is excessive and interrupts recordings that we do from our home office. PLEASE HELP!
