Washers and DryersI have a Dryer model DVE50BG8300VA3 had it about 1 year and a half now and it just stopped heating up. It runs through the cycle but it takes forever (a couple of hours) and the clothes still comes out damp. I have no error codes and I tried disconnecting it and reconnecting and its still not woking. From what I read it might be the heating element that went bad now is my dryer still under warranty says 20 years on there but not sure what is covered.
Thanks for the help

Washers and Dryers@Neo47G You will need to contact Samsung support. A year ago we had our dryer (not Samsung) stop drying. It was the board controlling the heating element. I turned out that board overheated because the vent had too much lint build up. After the repair we had to clean out the dryer vents or the repair wouldn't be warrantied.

Washers and DryersSo was that covered by the warranty or did you have to pay?

We had to pay. Having a dirty vent is not covered by warranty.
