Doing things like pausing a washer or dryer from the phone app is only possible if the Smart Control button was pressed on the machine. My wife never remembers to do this and I would like to do pause them when I need them quiet for a few minutes. But that is not possible, unless I first walk over to the machine and press the button, which defeats the purpose of having an app in the first place.
Is there no way to program the machines so that Smart Control always comes on by default when they are turned on?
