Hello Samsung, I just want to let you know that our new smart top load washer from November 11, 2023. It sometimes loses power so that, sometimes it turns off by itself mid-cycle; and we have to run the Rinse and Spin cycle sometimes when that happens, and sometimes when we do laundry like Monday, sometimes it won’t turn on. What’s the cause of this? A power loss tho the washer or what?

Hello there I am so sorry to hear about the washer not powering on and have located some information to assist. First, we recommend inspecting the power cord for any damage, if the power cord is damaged, service is required (link provided below).

Second, we also recommend checking to ensure the power cord is connected to the home's outlet properly. Please note: the outlet needs to be a well-grounded, 120V, three-prong outlet, protected by a 20-amp circuit. To confirm the outlet is working, we suggest you plug in something else, like a lamp to check.

Third, you will need to safely inspect the washer to verify it is not connected to a surge protector as Samsung does not recommend using surge protectors with our washers. Also, we recommend inspecting the circuit breaker of the home to verify it has not been tripped and has its own dedicated circuit. Please note: a washer cannot use a 240V outlet that electric dryers require.

Regrettably, if the washer still won't turn on, service is required, you can set up that service request here directly- https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/
or you can Private Message any moderator by clicking on the chat option with your full model and serial number, to proceed.

Hello, sometimes our washer won’t turn on because of the circuit breaker sometimes; the power cord isn’t damaged, it isn’t plugged into a surge protector, it’s not plugged into the dryer’s 240v power outlet. however, the dryer is still working even if the washer trips the circuit breaker, even when doing laundry or if it’s running.
