Have you checked the outlet it's plugged into? I thought my old washer had bit the dust when it would stop mid cycle and would not drain. Bought a new washer and same thing happened, then discovered the outlet itself was to blame. Changed the outlet and everything was fine. Except for me being mad tbat I got rid of a perfectly good washer and spent money on a new one.

I agree with the plug solution, but when you replace the wall plug be sure to install a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) because the plug is near the sink and the washer uses water. It's made to save your life and it works.
