Hi,

I have gone through this forum and I can't find a solution neither can I find a solution online.

On older version of Samsung phone and Android you could bulk delete your sms messages with a "Select All" option or maybe I am wishing that was an option?

Why can't I do this now? The solution of long pressing one message and selecting others is just ridiculous when I have hundreds of messages to remove is there any other way apart from backing up my phone and restoring it again but deselecting to restore SMS messages (this is the only viable solution I have right now and its not a good one).

Thanks in advance.

I think that may be by design.  So many people complain about "accidentally" deleting their messages, that it may now have to be a deliberate act to select them one by one.  This applies to both Google and Samsung messages.  And Facebook messenger, as well.

I recall a delete option where it has a box next to the texts where you can delete that way
