A Series & Other MobileThe A35 sold in the US and in Europe are different models. The US one is SM-A355U. The Europe one is SM-A356B. (As of early 2025.)
Has anyone used the US model in Europe. Can you confirm that it works properly in every way?
Thanks

A Series & Other MobileThanks, LongHiker. Years ago, I had an American phone (I don't remember if it was Samsung or some other) in Europe. I got a local SIM, but it didn't do more than 2G. So you've given me confidence to buy an A35 phone in the US, and use it in Europe. (I buy a local SIM in the country I'm going to.)

A Series & Other Mobile@ezh I would expect that you can make calls and use texting if your carrier has an international plan that you can enable or you get a local SIM.
Since there are differences in models, there may be edge cases where it doesn't act the same. I've never had any issue taking a Samsung US phone to Europe or Korea and using AT&T's international roaming.
