Certain apps not working on wifi but works on data

Since a few days ago, a few of my apps haven't been working when my A34 while I've been connected to my home WiFi network (I have tried on other WiFi networks but the problem persists).  If I disconnect and go back to mobile data, the apps work fine.

I have already tried the following steps with no success:

1. Enable and disable airplane mode
2. Deleted my WiFi network on my phone and reconnected to it
3. Reset Connection and Network settings on the phone
4. Rebooted the phone
5. Reset/power cycle my router and modem
6. Tried turning off some intelligent WiFi features
7. Made sure my phone is on the latest firmware version and that Google Play Services is up to date
8. Updated all apps on my phone
9. Cleared the cache of apps that wouldn't work on WiFi

Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

I've had that happen from time to time with certain apps (mostly when ordering food). The only thing that has worked for me is temporarily disabling WiFi, using mobile data to do what I need, and re-enabling WiFi afterwards.

Have you checked to make sure these apps are not set to always use mobile data? Setting>Apps>Special access (three dots, top right) and Apps that can always use data. It may also be a setting within the app.

I am having the same problem and have tried the above options. Do you have any other suggestions? I am using a Samsung S20. Thanks in advance.

Having the same issue with 2 apps (Personify Health & Weather Underground).  Seems to have coincided with UI 7 Android 15 update.  Strangely the 2 apps do open when connected to data or 1 of my 2 wifi extenders but not the main wifi router. Galaxy a54

I am using Samsung Galaxy 245G FE. Facing similar problem with Online ordering apps - milkbasket, myntra, ajio since last 1 week. Works on mobile data but gets struck on home page using WiFi. I have already tried all resolutions / ideas mentioned here still same.

Same happening with me on the new phone samsung S25 FE. Some apps like trading 212, samsung members app, truecaller etc dont work on home wifi but when wifi disabled they connect on mobile data. Once connected, if i switch back to wifi, the same apps work without any problems.

I think the problem is with Samsun g's Secure Wifi app (or possibly the configuration how Samsung handles any wifi connection  due to this Secure Wifi App). I have been trying to use same apps keeping the secure wifi app on (i.e. keeping protection on for the particular wifi) and the apps work fine. The moment I disconnect the secure wifi, the apps have problem again. The problem is Secure Wifi is not free, its free only till 1024 MB per month so its a problem for us even if this solution works (unless we are ready to pay a monthly fees to use secure wifi). Alternatively, connecting VPN 24 hours also leads to the apps working fine on same wifi. But again I need to pay for VPN. Samsung should do some fix for this.
