My fingerprint sensor works but it says action required in diagnostics and sometimes would just randomly shut off when I used it to unlock my phone. Anybody got an answer??
Sounds potentially busted take it to a uBreakiFix a Best Buy or a Batteries Plus and they should be able to diagnose it for free all three of those companies have contracts with Samsung

What they'll do is diagnose it for free and tell you if it needs fixing or if it's just a settings issue if it actually does need fixing I'll have to replace the whole screen because it's integrated into the screen based on what I'm seeing online that may cost you up to $129
