Front camera on any app won't work

So my front camera on any app will not work on the camera app it cuts out says check my phone. Snapchat won't even turn around and the other apps Will lag. Anyone know how to fix that?

Run diagnostics under settings, device care. It should give you an indication of any potential hardware issues.

Hello chloew, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your frustrations with your camera not working properly. 

First let's try resetting the camera app and verifying it is up to date: 

Open Camera app and tap Settings

Navigate to Reset Settings and tap Reset (The Camera app will be reset to its defaults)

Tap the Settings icon again and tap About Camera

Check if any updates are available; tap Update if one is available (If there are no updates available, your screen will read The latest version is already installed)

Try your device in Safe Mode: Safe Mode will determine if a third party app is causing your camera to not work properly

Power off your device, Touch and hold Power off until the Safe mode icon is displayed. Tap Safe mode to start your device in Safe mode. If you've entered Safe mode successfully, you'll see “Safe mode” displayed at the bottom of the screen. Try to open your camera in Safe Mode, if your camera app is working correctly then a third party app is causing the issue. 

Restart your device as normal to exit Safe Mode
