Galaxy A12 stuck on download screen

Hi,

My Galaxy A12 has got stuck on the blue download screen.

I have tried the volume/on/off button and although it turns it off, it then just starts again on the blue screen. Any other suggestions rather than chuck it away?

The phone is 18mths old and is out of warranty and not insured.

Thank you for posting. Welcome to the Samsung Community. I understand your Galaxy A12 is stuck on download mode.  I understand you have attempted to hold down the volume down and power key for 7 seconds and restarted the device but the Download mode continues to reappear. 

Please make sure nothing is contacting the buttons like a case installed incorrectly.
