If I prioritize 5g it will connect with barely any signal and unregister from mobile network. I have to prioritize 4 g to maintain a connection. I have tried everything under the sun. If anyone has any ideas beyond your basic troubleshooting please let me know.

T Mobile but honestly, I didn't think so. I can put my sim card in my old Motorola and pull 5g with absolutely no issues.

That seems a network issue I have seen this is apple iphones that when the signal from antenna is less it goes in SOS mode which basically means getting the signal quality like 4 g or lower

Do you have both toggles on to allow 5G and 4G? If you do not allow a 4G connection, it will attempt to connect to 5G even when the signal is very weak. Leaving bith toggles on will allow your phone to utilize the stronger signal.
