Google messages RCS chats not available

Has anyone else noticed that RCS chats are not available on Google messages the tab is still on the app it says RCS chats are not available for my device (A13 5G) and it also seems like it's not detecting my SIM card either my phone is in service on my straight talk account so it's not my carrier or SIM card I'm still able to send and receive text messages from my mother and phone carrier is this happening to anyone else on Google messages

There's a fix in the works from what I read earlier of known issues recently reported

I have a galaxy s21 or something and my sim card won't work either.
