How do switch my news screen from samsung news to another news platform on samsung galaxy A12 on android 12

Samsung News is all you will get on that screen.  Their phone, their app.  The ONLY thing you can do is select which news sources you see They have a variety of all different bents that you can select from.  If you want anything else, you will have to download another news app that coincides with your point of view.  I don't understand your problem with it.  You get to choose your news source.  As I said the News app is only a shell, a curator of news sources that YOU select.  If you select no sources, they will use their "editorial discretion" to show you articles they think you might be interested in based on a combination of your searches and browsing history.

You do realize all you have to do is open the Google app to get the news feed. I have that page turned off so I can have looped pages.

It's not faster if the app is on your home screen. You can also access it if you have the Google Search bar on your home screen by tapping on the G.
