When it comes to optimization and fluidity, I'd say yes. When it comes to features, utility, and user experience android is the way to go.

They're both completely different operating systems and they have their ups and downs. Stick with the phone that best suits you.

This is a personal preference as some users will say Apple is better, other will say same thing about Samsung.

I am an Android user since 2008 when T-Mobile released their G1/HTC Dream phone. I wish Symbian OS, Blackberry 10 OS and Windows Phone would be around. I like to have choices.

Android runs X11 BASIC and BBC BASIC. iOS can do BBC BASIC but not X11 BASIC.
