Which message app are you using? If its Samsung Messages, its most likely outdated, i would suggest switching to Google Messages as its better and has encryption for messages

Samsung or Google messages some have reported Samsung not always functional with Google messages

Odd cuz i use Google Messages and have had no issues at all

I meant if another person using Samsung messages texts a Google messages I can get confusing but Google messages no issues

Switching to Google messages may fix that issue if you do make sure you turn on rcs top of settings
