Other files nonsense

82 GB of other files making my phone practically unusable

That's not from samsung. My "other" files aren't even a tenth of what yours are, and you can see that my phone is almost as full as yours, but mine is mostly videos, which I'm aware of. I would look for a more in-depth view of what's using all that storage. Start with old app files still on your phone. You should also go into your internal storage and sort by data size, so you can get an idea is what's causing it.

The other files are the apps YOU installed, app data, cache and downloads. Only the part taken up by the OS has anything to do with Samsung/Google.  You need to go to the storage analyzer and clear out files and apps you no longer need.  Reboot to recovery mode and clear the cache partition.  You will recover space, but don't blame Samsung for storage being taken up by YOUR stuff.
