Permissions Fix/Device Admin

Hi Samsung Community,

I've tried changing a couple of permissions on my A32 5G but when I attempt to allow or deny the permission, message states "enabled by device admin" and I don't have permission to change. Two of the apps in question are Samsung Notes and Samsung Calender and my security/antivirus (Sophos Intercept X) so goes without saying it's my device admin, but I've never encountered this issue before so I'm open to any help & support the community can offer.

Hello, I understand how frustrating it can be trying to accept all of the permissions for apps. Have you tried clearing the app cache for the apps experiencing the issue? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/

What do u mean notes app ask me to grant phone permissions to all apps

I posted that back in 2021 and what I was referring to was note app wanted access to nearly all permissions that you could allow an app to have but I decided against it, even as of today, I occasionally check permissions and apps such as note will have permissions granted that I didn't allow and it's not the only app that grants itself permissions.

I have an administrator on my phone. I don't know how because I don't have an administrator at all. Could my phone be hacked

Did you try what @SamsungRei suggested?
I would try that first. Hope you resolve your issue.

I too have the same issue 

When trying to do certain things I get you are not allowed to do that, your device administrator has disabled this .....
