Picture format not supported after updates this week

After updating my Samsung a14 - pictures become unusable and corrupted. File shows as jpeg, but cannot view them

I have the s22 ultra and the a14 5G. If possible if you have a laptop available, plug your phone into it and SYNC your gallery. As the files pop up on your computer instead of leaving them as JPEG, manually edit and replace it with PNG instead. See if that fixes your issue.

Do you mean you went from say one ui 5.1 to 6.0? Is it only new photos taken you can't view or old ones to and do you mean can't view on the phone or on a pc?

Updated security today 7/18/2024 and once again samsung and it's updates killed my gallery. Any clue to restore without going one photo at a time? ZFold 5
