I don't know quite what iPhone s do but with Samsung you can block apps, set bed time, monitor what apps they've opened, how long they had an app open, what they've downloaded(and when), extend bedtime(just for that day), lock the phone(wirelessly), change the password(wirelessly), lock your kid(s) from changing settings, stop your kid from using an app for more than a set amount of time.
