"Samsung Galaxy A13 5G" Or aka "SM-A136U1".

Upon downloading today Mar 11, 2024, the latest update for Android 13 Os for my Cell Phone, (update
SM-A136U1UES7DXB1), I am Reporting a "Bug" that the
latest update did to Nuke my Shortcuts and folders.

On EVERY single Shutdown reboot, the latest Android Update removes apps shortcuts from a LOCKED Home Screen AND
ALSO Below Home Screen 2nd Page
("scroll down from home screen"), Apps are removed from folders and folders are deleted and apps thrown onto other pages that never existed BEFORE Reboot.

This "Bug" for SM-A136U1UES7DXB1, occurs on EVERY reboot of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Updated Android Os.

I am tired of having to redo my short cuts and folders.

FIX your **bleep**y Android Os
SM-A136U1UES7DXB1, so that after every reboot it does not constantly without fail, hose
and nuke my settings even from an Alleged LOCKED HOME Screen which "should"
prevent that in the first place BUT DOES NOT.

The Lock setting is IGNORED ON reboot.

Further I want a "True LOCK" page that when "active or on" IS NOT EVER IGNORED upon the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G, (SM-A136U1), Os On EVERY single shutdown and Reboot.

I want this "True LOCK"
Ability NOT ONLY for the Home Screen BUT for ALL OTHER Pages or Screens NOT Related to Home Screen.

Sincerely

Raining

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is for the shortcuts and folders to be removed on every reboot.

Since this happened immediately after an update, the first thing we recommend is to clear the cache partition of the phone from the recovery menu. This will help to clear out any corrupt files that may remain after an update. This article from T-Mobile provides the steps for this: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/tutorials/topic/update-amp-backup/wipe-cache-partition/device/samsu...

We also recommend submitting an error report to the developers, using the steps here: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/

A final recommendation would be to do a factory reset of the phone. This would correct possible software glitches that may have occurred during the installation of the update. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If you continue to experience the shortcuts and folders being removed from the locked home screen, we recommend having the phone evaluated by an authorized service center. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
