Trying to find a texting app to allow me to see messages on Lock Screen

I am trying to find a messenge at that will work and show me the message even if my phone is locked I was using Verizon but they are no longer offering their service so if anyone has any good messaging text apps where you can get the message even if your phone is locked and you got your sentence correctly can you please let me know because it's time. Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications > show content > tap the gear.

Have you tried using samsung messages or google messages?

This will show all notifications on the lock screen. Of the apps you selected.

Go to your phones settings and look for notification settings and then turn on lock screen notifications. It's not the apps itself, it's the phone settings.
