Since updating to the one ui 7 this week, my A14 phone will often not respond to touch after the screen awakes after touching the side button. I'm unable to swipe, or select phone or camera buttons. I have tried clearing the cache and rebooting, but the problem persists, rendering my phone pretty much useless. Any solutions, apart from throwing my phone at the wall in anger would be appreciated.
I am also having this issue. It is not always a problem and I can usually get the UI to respond if I turn the phone on and off a few times. If that fails a Reboot (Power key + Volume Down buttons together) will normally sort it out after the reboot, until the next time it decides to hang.
I have not tried the cache clear or reset as this seems to be a waste of time from other places I have read about this issue.
Dear Samsung, please, this issue needs attention now. As others have said, we really on a phone for so many other things than making calls. A hung UI can mean we cannot get to logins/passkeys etc and even getting locked out of a car.
Same issue. It seems to be related slightly to how long you leave your phone sleeping. If i sleep my a14 for a few moments, no issues. But in the morning, or after a long time not using. Almost always takes a few tries or a reboot. I tried the different sensitivity settings because it could have been related to those. But unfortnutely not that.
Where's UI7.1 fix for this???? Alongside all the other issues other devices have. This update has been out for months.
Same here their people are clueless. They also ruined the camera. How does no one else have complaints here It totally makes you look ugly now when you take selfies
So glad I didn't do a factory reset like they were trying to tell me to do. There are people software people need to be fired for them ruining the system n the camera. My phone has been freezing for a month now or since that last update.
My phone's touch screen still lags on new apps, it's gotten better for me on the texting though out of the blue. It still has a lot of issues. Did AI take over our phones? Bad joke, but could it happen? I feel like everyone else. I've been looking into other phone's, and carriers for that matter. I really like samsung, but they may get the boot after this. LG was my second favorite. They don't do phone's anymore. I'm stuck like everyone else. Thanks for letting me vent.
