I have an A40 smartphone. I want to use its microphone to act as a listening device to send people's conversations to my wireless earbuds. Can this be done?

I don't believe that's possible with the default recorder. However, there may be third-party apps designed specifically for that purpose.
You could always just press record, lock your screen, and walk away. Then, listen to the conversation later.

I tried this, and it seems to work for a short time. It did pause after a few minutes on its own, though, and it was difficult to hear, even with the volume turned all the way up. I didn't know this was an option, however. Thank you for sharing!

I replied to ILoveGabcom and TipsyTrex saying thanks. Doesn't seem to have showed up though.
