My Samsung Voicemail stopped working about a month ago. I have tried every solution listed but I can't get it working again. I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it, but I am unable to. Is there any way to uninstall it so that I can reinstall it from the Galaxy Store? I have a Galaxy A53.

Voicemail is a carrier issue - always. Contact your carrier.  Do you mean the Samsung's Visual Voicemail app or your voice mail box?

The Visual Voicemail app on the phone. It says it's trying to get information on my account, then it fails. I have to dial into my Voicemail server to get my messages.

Who is your carrier?  They may have their own VVM app.

My carrier is Spectrum, but the Voicemail app prompts me to dial a Help Center number. When I dial the number, it says "Verizon" on the screen. It asks me to confirm the phone number, then says I'm not a customer and need to contact my carrier. I don't even get to that point anymore. The app fails while trying to access my account information. It then prompts me to dial into Voicemail. I have to do that to get my messages.

I have never used Samsungs VVM app. It never came preinstalled on any of my phones. I have a different carrier with it's own VVM. If Spectrum does not have it's own app, you can see if there's a generic one in the Play or Galaxy store. Theoretically, there is nothing about a VVM app that shouldn't work on any carrier, but perhaps there's some account security hooks now that make it necessary for a provider to approve the app. If Spectrum runs off the Verizon network, Verizon my not allow 3rd-party VVM apps. If spectrum does not provide their own app, you may be out of luck. If they do, you will have to call them for help with it. Call them anyway, they may have a solution for you, as I am sure you would not be the only person to contact them about this.

Incidentally, you can just dial directly into voicemail without first going into the VVM app. Just long press the "1" on the dial pad.

I'll try your suggestions, but I still don't have an answer on why I can't uninstall it and reinstall it. The only option the Galaxy Store has is to Open it.

Can it not be uninstalled by going to the apps list in settings? I've never actually found the app in the Galaxy store when I tried to look for it. Maybe it only appears for you because you already have it?

No. That option isn't there.

I just found the problem with visual voicemail. I have a VPN as part of my antivirus software. I turned it off and now visual voicemail is able to access my account information and start up successfully. I've had this VPN for quite a while so I don't know why this problem just suddenly manifested itself.
