Why does the Galaxy A56 not allow shooting 4k 24 fps in the native camera app?

Hello!

I recently purchased the Galaxy A56 and found that even though the camera can record videos at 4k 30 fps, the Pro Video mode does not allow the option of recording at 24 fps.

I was confused. If the phone can record at 4k 30 fps, it should be able to record 4k 24 fps too. (Thus, it's not a hardware limitation)

I installed a third-party camera app and discovered the 24 fps option there.

It would be convenient if Samsung updates its camera app to include a 24 fps option in the native camera. It would mean the world to me, as I am an aspiring filmmaker.

Thanks!

Most likely because Samsung wants aspiring filmmakers to buy the S series and higher.

Think you need to read the specs

I have read the specs before buying (obviously).

It is NOT a hardware limitation at all. A third party camera app can easily record 24 fps video at 4K.

This is simply Samsung intentionally limiting features through software to push the customer up the price ladder. It's very disappointing and annoying.
