I’m having an issue with my T9 Samsung 4TB SSD where it randomly disconnects and reconnects when connected to a high-speed 20gbps USB-C 2x2 port on my desktop. The drive works fine on regular USB ports, but I get an error message when trying to scan it on the USB-C port, and it recommends a repair, which fails due to the disconnecting issue. I’ve tested multiple cables (including the one provided), and it works fine on other USB-C ports. The drive transfers files at 2gbps speed when connected, but the disconnections are inconvenient. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution?

Have you tried cleaning out your changing port? If you have, maybe try the cord with a different device, and if it works, your port might be damaged or dirty
