Fold & Flip PhonesI started a group text to keep colleagues aware of the status of a very ill colleague. I've tried several times to add additional recipients to the group text, but as soon as I close the text or move to another, then return to the text, the added recipients are gone. I'm selecting the add/remove recipients button, selecting the additional recipients, then clicking "done," and they show up, but as soon as I move to another text and come back, they've disappeared. How can I make the additions "stick?"
TIA!

Fold & Flip PhonesWhich messaging app are you using? Samsung messages in no longer being maintained, so things that used to work may not any longer. I suggest you switch to Google Messages, even if just long enough to add the extra recipients to your group. If you are already using Google Messages and this is happening, I'm not exactly sure why the setting doesn't keep. I have only a couple of groups currently going, so everyone is already in those groups and I haven't had the need to add anyone. However, when I created a test group and then closed it and reopened it to add people, it appears to have created a separate, new group, including the new recipients. Since there were no messages in either test group, I have no way of knowing whether the messages from the original thread carry over, I do assume it would. If it does, you can safely delete the original group, so you are not getting duplicate notifications for the same messages. This may be what happened with your original additions, an additional group may have been created, but you went back into the original group.
